ABOUT ME

As I work in Education I have the luck of having a good amount of annual leave to take. This has allowed me to to travel to a few of my 'places I must go to before I die'. At the moment I'm stuck on Australia. I've done three 1 month trips and it's still not enough, there's so much more to see. So my next trip is booked for January and can't wait!So my current obsession with Australia has made me learn to appreciate and enjoy my own time out of work and to make the most of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to let people piss you off. Don't bitch and try to see the best in people. Take more of an interest in other people than yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just joined CS. So how I participate is yet unknown. I shall update this in time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't yet had any official CS experiences. However, I was left in a fix on my last trip to Oz where a hostel hadn't processed my booking which was to be my first place upon arrival. Fortunately, I had met my fantastic friend on a previous trip who very generously put me up. For that I will be forever greatful. Had it not been for her I would have arrived in Sydney on Dec 26th at 6am after 48 hours of travel trying to find a place to stay, which I know would not have been easy. From that day I thought the concept of CS was the business!

Interests

I hate this question. But honestly; Scuba Diving, Photography, Film (making and watching), pubs, clubs and automobiles.

Music, Movies, and Books

American Beauty if my favourite film. But generally I prefer films that are character based.
Music; anything guitar based with good drums and bass guitar.
Books; Again character based and generally involve travel writings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A Scuba Dive at the southern point of the Great Barrier Reef. Got to the seabed and came across a huge old Loggerhead turtle. We got arms length away from it and was quite happy for my buddy and I to say hello.
