About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Building my tiny house
ABOUT ME
I'm an open-minded, friendly and talkative person who loves traveling herself and would love to get to know other travelers from all over the world! I'm currently building a tiny house and start studying to be a secondary school teacher in fall. I am involved in activities for Amnesty International, a global human rights organization.
PHILOSOPHY
You never know what life brings next - one moment you think you have everything, the other moment you lose it all. Life is like a river, and you just have to go with it, tolerantly accepting the past, passionately enjoying the present, curiously looking forward to any part of your life coming!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love couchsurfing and will certainly do it again as soon as there is an opportunity!
I am also willing to host travelers although I don't live in Zurich and therefore don't expect many couchsurfers coming to my place ;-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing experience:
Up to this moment, I have surfed a couch three times, in Munich, Ljubljana and Vienna. All stays were very nice and I appreciated the opportunity to get to know these cities in a different way. I heard much more insider information about the country's people and of course got to know my hosts.
I have hosted one person so far and would love to do it again. It is a great experience to view one's own city and culture with different eyes.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I play more myself than listen to; but if I had to describe my music taste, it would be a mixture between hip hop, funk, r'n'b and jazz.
Movies: I like movies in general - some good movies I remember right now are 'Rain Man', 'War Horse', 'Save the last dance' and 'Intouchables'.
Books: I only read nonfiction books, e.g. about history, society, economy and psychology.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess there are many moments in life that are special, amazing or even magical - we sometimes just let them pass without appreciating them too much ... However, I remember many great moments in my life that I will keep in mind - they're just too personal to be written here ;-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn: Arabic (language)
I can teach: German and English - for anybody who would like to practice during their stay ;-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My optimism, my knowledge about Switzerland and other countries, my interest in current events and philosophical questions, and many stories about life!
