About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be creative and bring joy to those around me with my creations. To aid in the healing of the earth, starting with me and my immediate environment

ABOUT ME

A down to earth relaxed Australian with a healthy love for delicious vegan food. Fun loving and a little bit adventurous, I love to laugh and dance. I don't take myself too seriously and hope that others don't either. I am artistic and creative in most aspects of life. I also care a great deal for the environment and do my best to care for Mother Earth. I'm currently studying massage and am hoping to extend that learning to even more healing modalities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and I find that travelling to a place is so much better with a little bit of local knowledge. Places are about the people that inhabit them as much as anything else.

Interests

I like music and music festivals. I have a great love for nature and bushland. A music festival in the bush is pretty much my favourite thing. I am very creative and spend most of my spare time making things, getting crafty. I like to knit, sew, make dreamcatchers and whatever other crafty activity takes my fancy. I also like gardening and cooking, making food from vegetables I've grown is another favourite of mine. I am also pretty infatuated with Faeries.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band is currently Nahko and Medicine for the People, I also love Florence and The Machine, John Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd... The list could seriously go on forever, I believe in the power of music as it unifies and heals.
Some of my favourite books are Shantaram, Meeting Faeries, Healing with the Faeries, Good Faeries/Bad Faeries (and anything faerie related, lets face it), The Book of Stones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are countless amazing things that I've done during my adventures exploring this earth, it is hard to pick just one to describe.. So at random I'd say camping on the Whitsunday islands and while snorkelling off the beach getting a tour of the reef from a very friendly sea turtle.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be my absolute pleasure to cook a delicious vegan meal (or many meals as the case may be) for my hosts. I love sharing information about faeries and other such magical things, and I'd love to give a faerie card reading. As well as a massage, it would be crazy of me to share your space sharing the gift of healing... I also love singing... I have so much to share, it's a bit ridiculous.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam, Wales
