Hi there!! This is Fiorella, Peruvian by blood, Italian by heart and Dutch by bike. I am 29 y/o and I live in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
If needed to describe myself I can say open minded, spontaneous and adventurous as my personal and professional background brought me to live in 5 countries, mixing myself with different cultures since I am young.
I was born in Peru and grow up in Lima till I was 14 years old, live brought me to Italy where I stayed other 14 years between Piedmont/Lombardy, made two student experiences in Paris and Barcelona for 6 months each and since 2016 I fall deeply in love with The Netherlands, my new home since August 2022 (where I can host you in Nijmegen, 1.5h from Amsterdam and be your guide when needed)

My friends say that I always bring the best vibe where I go, I am the soul of the party but I am also the excel friend of the trip. I consider myself also really easygoing as I can enjoy a day in a museum or a techno festival, but it depends a lot too on the connection I get with the people I meet, your vibe attracts your tribe ✨

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting local people when I travel and learn from them as much as I can share from my cultures too, that is the most precious souvenir I bring home.
I grow up hosting friends from my grandparents from abroad (Chile, Argentina) that had a safe place to stay when in Lima and loved to hear their experiences, so now I want to keep the tradition of my family by my own.

I have been an Aupair for two years too so I know what it means to live on somebody's house and have respect from the space given. I am also really transparent so I like to clarify doubts before and agreement, communication is key :)

Unfortunately I had a bad experience when in India but I am safe and that's all what it counts.
Because of this I stopped using the platform and replace it with "Host a sister" but now Id like to keep using CS too.

Interests

I travel a lot and never get enough about it but I enjoy also more chill activities as hosting friends for dinner, having some drinks on a local bar, brunching, having a hike, the smell of the forest, the breeze, any kind of food (but not spicy) reading books in Spanish , Wine 🍷 but my favorite activity is enjoying the sunset on the beach

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lovely place to stay in Nijmegen (bedroom), the oldest city in The Netherlands, bikes to move around the city and to the station where you can depart each 15 minutes to Amsterdam and other important cities of The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

I have learn a lot from this country since 2016 so I'd be glad to share my knowledge with you. Museums, day and nightlife, tulips, windmills and more. Its more than a vibrant country and I can host you so you can explore it

Recommended period is April/May as we celebrate Kingsday the 27th of April and the Tulips are all around the area of Leiden, Flevoland and more.
