About Me

CURRENT MISSION

build a peaceful world...and only through people exchange this will be possible

ABOUT ME

Ciao!!I love travelling and I think the best way to know new places and to better understand the culture and history of these places is to have direct contacts with people who live there. I love meeting new people, visiting new places and I like very much guiding in my city!!I'm a sunny person and a great talker!!

I'm NOT ACCEPTING guests at the moment only because I'm currently living in ROME but I still don't have my own flat...so I haven't changed my location profile yet because it will be difficult to verify my location and I have to choose one location for my profile :(
If you need anything in Rome, please feel free to contact me :)

PHILOSOPHY

I try to do my best in everythig I do. I try to spend time with those I love and learning new things..sometimes I m a bit lazy and I like just to relax...but then my curious spirit wakes me up and I try to live every day in the best way...I always try to be optimistic and sunny..but it s not always easy!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have my own flat in Bergamo, so I always have to ask permission to my parents to host someone...but any time I have the possibility I host those who ask me for help..or I help people by guiding them in my town, giving suggestion about restaurants, places to see, transport means...any time I have time I try to do my best...I m quite busy so if I say no please believe me I really could not help you in this moment!I hope I'll have in the future my own flat to host whoever I want!
I also love travelling so sometimes I need a couch to stay...or just some tips about the places I'm going to visit...just not to miss anything and to see the places through natives' eyes!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I was 17 I was hosted for one year by a wonderful Belgian family: it was my first experience as a host in another country and during that experience I decided that the best way to know a country was visiting it starting from the people and from their houses :)
Then when I lived and travelled around France, Brazil and China I was hosted by lots of families (not always through HC or CS...but I think that it does no matter, the experience in itself is the most important thing) and I really fell in love with their people.
I was hosted by CouchSurfers several times and I had the possibility to guide some surfers in Bergamo or to offer them an ice-cream or a dinner. I also have a 3years experience as Hospitality Club member and I'm volunteer for a no-profit organization that organizes student exchanges...so I have lots of nice hosting experiences...
Actually my first experience as HC memeber was in the States were my brother and I spent 2 weeks travelling from Texas to California...we met lots of interesting people, in particular a couple in New Mexico(they were really so cute,we love them!!!they prepare a wonderful dinner and cake for my birthday!!) and a very nice couple in San Jose that makes us feel at home.
Another summer I was in Ireland with my boyfriend and other 3 guys and we were hosted all 5 for one night in Londonderry by a super cool guy that prepares stew for us!!
I also have lots of experience as host (except for friends from all over the world that come sometimes to visit me):a Finnish family with 2 wonderful children,a Polish couple, a Russian couple, a Brazilian boy, and so on...I always have really very good impression...sometimes time was too short and there was just time for a chat...other times I could discover really how the world interesting could be..well actually I think I could travel only if I meet some natives..places and things have another taste..and also my city have different faces if you see it through other peoples'eyes!!

Interests

reading, travelling around the world, dancing (especially samba!!just to relax), swimming, sewing and crochetting, knowing new people, learning languages, walking in the mountains, spending time with my boyfriend, "fare la ricotta"(it does not mean to make ricotta cheese, but to relax and don't think at anything special...it's what Ancient Romans called OTIUM)
