About Me

I am a friendly student with eagerness to learn new things, see new views and open to new ideas. I love to explore parts of the country, shedding my ignorance off bit by bit and see the world in kaleidoscopic perspective!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet groups of travelers that share the same passion and/or interest with me. I want to meet new people from my new hobby of traveling. I want to meet friendly and nice people and foster long-term friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies: I watch recent ones like Coco, The Post and Jumanji 2.
Favorite music: Used to be Malay ballads, but now I am into Kpop (favorite band: BTS), pop rock (favorite band: the 1975) and general pop music (comprises of mostly Years & Years).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I directed my first play without prior experience! Wrote the script, coordinate the lighting and the music, the acting techniques, the cues, the blocking, the leading 40 people at one time, the props and the choreography! It's called MyNight 2018: University of Wisconsin-Madison, look it up!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Malay and introduce to the wonders of Malaysia. I can teach also the beauty of silat and traditional dances in Malaysia. But, I would like to learn more about Japanese culture and language, and to be shared about the manners and tradition engraved in their roots.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love traditional art, so I would love to share the beauty of Malaysian theater. My grandparents taught a thing or two about Malaysian culture that is essential to our identity, and I would love to share the unique values of Malaysia that not a lot of people recognize or notice.

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
