Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being alive.
ABOUT ME
Studied medieval history and religion in college, spent fifteen months working as an itinerant farmgirl through WWOOF-USA, and then joined a human rights accompaniment organization. And that's what you can do with a liberal arts degree.
Currently based in Toronto, Canada.
I have some stories.
PHILOSOPHY
Pay attention, be aware, and take in as much of the whole story as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Played host at my housing co-op in Central Pennsylvania, and I've surfed around the US southwest and in Canada.
I'm taking some time off from work to travel around Ireland and Scotland in March 2015, because I'm a big believer in living out one's dreams while one is able.
Interests
reading, history, sustainable agriculture, walking in the woods, gardening, palestine, kurdistan, biking there, bookstore cafes, public libraries, laughing out loud, a well-told story, goats, strawbale construction, off-grid living, being somewhere dark enough to see the stars, talking about stories with people who love them

Teach, Learn, Share
My work has to do with human rights and social justice, which means I can be a pretty magnificent Debbie Downer in conversations about current events. But, if you wanna know, I'll be happy to give you my take on things.
