ONE WEEKS NOTICE IS APPRECIATED...

WE PREFER SURFERS STAY 2 TO 4 NIGHTS...

Nelly and I met through couchsurfing and a year later we married and have never looked back.

We can host anytime, having said that I work shift so preference will be on my days off as it gives us all a chance to relax and get to know each other. We live in a suburb of Canberra, approx: 35min from town by bus.

We try to live a fun, active life, we are into Geocaching and love to share it with anyone that wants to join in.

PHILOSOPHY

It doesn't matter where we are in the world, its the people that make the experience not the place!!!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend and I discovered CS just before travelling to India, and the experience really made our trip! When I returned to Oz I have started to host so I could experience the "vibe" of travel without leaving home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nelly and I like to make connections before we travel. Meeting people from different cultures with unique personality's make the travel experience for us.

We hope that by opening our home, it will enable others to get that opportunity also.

We love travel, we keep our passports up to date and handy at all times and never think twice before taking off if a good opportunity presents itself, we even applied for a passport for our son within a month of him being born. He is still travelling on it even though he does not look anything like his passport photo :-)

We like to relax, we believe that life is about finding comfort, however when travelling we are not the lying on the beach type, we need to be doing, experiencing, tasting or seeing something or someone to make any encounter stand out.

Meeting new people, you can stay anywhere in the world, it is the people that you meet that make the experience not the place, and we hopefully learn from the experience. Oh and Nelly loves to eat!
