ABOUT ME

I spent last year sipping on vin rouge in Paris, taking photos, wandering and generally having an amazing time. I'm back home in Sydney now, wondering where the year went but getting back into the swing of Aussie life. I'm undertaking a bit of a career change and it's very exciting, but scary! Basically, I want to meet people, make new friends, learn new languages and enjoy what this amazing planet has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind to people and they will be kind to you. Be positive and positive things will happen to you. Do the right thing and people will do the right thing by you. Whatever you give out, you get back. I want to get to the end of my life surrounding by the people I love knowing that I made the most of every single opportunity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a native Sydney-sider and I know it pretty well. I'l love to show people around and get to know the real Sydney. It's not just about the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have not yet had the pleasure of 'surfing' someone's couch I have met lots of beautiful people through CSing in Paris. The Paris group is so active and there is always an activity being organised. Thanks to all the CSers I have met who made my time in Paris wonderful!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I have very eclectic tastes in just about everything. I love to read Harry Potter, anything Austin, Eat, Pray, Love, Jasper Fforde...actually I just love to read! I'm a huge fan of French films and I love just about all music but have a particular fondness of show tunes.

I quit my steady job, left my apartment, gave up everything to travel to Paris last year. It was the best thing I have ever done and the most amazing year of my life!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I love languages and love to teach languages as well as learn them. I cook an awesome vegetarian tarte (although I'm not vegetarian) and can often be found making fresh pasta at midnight just because I have the urge. I'd love to learn new recipes from all corners of the globe. If you've got a special recipe...bring it along!
