I'm a student at Ankara, Turkey. Except being a student, I am someone who is nerd about music, cinema and books. I am trying to learn the most out of everything, people, trips, books, movies, everything is a wonderful experience on my mind and I want to have lots of experience around Europe this summer.

I am planning to move to a house when I go back to Turkey on September, so I could be your host one day :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I always try to discover new genres and groups, but my favourite genres are progressive, psychedelic rock, post-rock, post-punk, shoegaze, darkjazz and blues. I enjoy listening to Pink Floyd , Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Portishead, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, Joy Division, Daft Punk, Mogwai, Ulver, Godspeed You!Black Emperor, Bohren&The Club of Gore, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble.

It has been a long time since I haven't used couchsurfing so I should add that I started listening to electronic music and I LOVE TECHNO. Ambient techno and IDM are my favourite genres these months and my favourite is Aphex Twin.

About movies, my favourite directors are Lars von Trier, Rene Laloux and Krzysztof Kieslowski. I like watching drama films, sci-fi animations and lots of different kinds, except action movies. I don't like them.

About books, I am trying to read more philosophy nowadays. I enjoy works of Albert Camus the most. And also Emil Cioran.
