Hi! I’m Fis from sunny Singapore. On a mission to travel solo at least once a year. I work in the creative/design industry as a freelancer - I do Graphic Design and also Project Management. 👩🏻‍💻💻⌨️🖱️🎨🖌️👩🏻‍💼

I’m back on CS again after my last travel to Vietnam in Dec 2019 (before Covid). Now I’m planning travels again and hope to meet more people 😃

I’m recently happily married (met my husband 😍 on a volunteering trip in Vietnam) and he’s supportive of my solo travels! I LOVE being his wife - if you’re using CS like a dating app, please do NOT send me a message.

I’m open to meeting everyone and anyone from all different walks of life 😃 When travelling, I prefer to stay with female hosts, or couples and families. For hosting in Singapore, I only host women. Hope you understand, I do not host men.

I don’t smoke or drink alcohol - I just don't like the smell - I have no issues with anyone who does!

I prefer hanging out at a cafe or somewhere with good live acoustic music. Very recently started learning Reiki for self-healing. So if you’re a Reiki practitioner, I would love to meet and learn from you.

P.S. As a Singaporean, the book/movie Crazy Rich Asians has “ruined” my identity when I travel 😅 🤦🏻‍♀️ If you have watched it, that’s NOT me. I’m probably just a *little bit* crazy, and working on being “rich” with experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a night on a pontoon in the middle of The Great Barrier Reef. • Solo travel in Vietnam, backpacking for a month. • Booked flights spontaneously, twice! (example booked tonight to fly the next morning) • Solo travel to London and Iceland (first time seeing snow and also experienced Iceland’s biggest snow storm in years, being stuck indoors)

I can teach you the Malay language, or a uniquely Singaporean language “Sing-lish” 😏

I grew up poor or in a low-income household, in Singapore, where everything is known to be expensive. If you’re looking to travel cheaply in Singapore, guess who’s your new bestie? 🙆🏻‍♀️

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love long walks everywhere, anywhere just talking about anything or exchanging travel stories. Just keep walking and talking. Sometimes I bring local gifts from my home for the CS friends I meet on my travels.
