About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Radical plantation of thoughts. Growing within new ideas. Exchange with people. Teaching the kids.
ABOUT ME
Hey there! I am an easy going 34yr-old from Berlin, living in a shared flat with friends and working as an educator with small kids and big ones :) And I love to meet people enjoying to listen to their stories, anecdotes of their lives, asking questions.
PHILOSOPHY
I like this beautiful James Baldwin quote: “Love takes off the masks that we fear we cannot live without and know we cannot live within. I use the word "love" here not merely in the personal sense but as a state of being, or a state of grace - not in the infantile American sense of being made happy but in the tough and universal sense of quest and daring and growth."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The same reason why I do hitchhiking: I love to meet new people with different points of view, experiences, perspectives on life. I like to listen to stories, anecdotes and to what makes life special to another person.
And I believe life works in a kind of karma way. And that we can all make this place a better one by being open, welcoming and attentive.
Interests
I love to cook and invite friends, taking a walk in Berlins cold winter days and playing Basketball. I really like meditate and do that more and more regularly at home. And I am political person interested in what is happening around me, being active, getting involved.
Recently, I started baking my own sourdough bread - such a rewarding thing to do!

Music, Movies, and Books
Things that make me think or feel or grow: Fanon, bell hooks, Simone de Beauvoir, Tolstoi, Gandhi, Dostojewski, Max Frisch, Erich Fromm, Murakami, James Baldwin, Toni Morrison, Nina Simone, James Joyce, William Blake, Speech Debelle, KRS-One, Scroobious Pip, Frida Kahlo and all the good people I left out.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I like most when people (friends or new-to-meet ones) in my hometown of Berlin is walking through the city and discovering it anew through the eyes, observations and comments of people who are new to the place and not spoiled by routine. I definitely can offer the same to Hosts.
Otherwise I like to hear about their perspectives on things that are going on around them (politically, socially, culturally...) and share my views and experiences from Berlin.
Or I will just let them be and do my own walking arounds :)
