About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To become a member of the 100 Countries Visited Club!

ABOUT ME

I've had a few pretty amazing traveling and living abroad experiences and I'm always interested in hearing about other peoples adventures. My most recent trip was a one year North and South American adventure. We drove across Canada and down into Texas, left our car and went back packing all the way down to Brazil and then returned to Texas and drove up the west coast back to Vancouver!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a big believer in karma and basically just being an all around good person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first got into CSing in Thailand when I was traveling on my own. I met a wonderful group of people on Phi Phi Island and I haven't looked back since! I have hosted and been hosted by some really awesome people, not to mention all the amazing folks who are a part of the Vancouver group!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some amazing people through CouchSurfing! From random events and BBQ's around Vancouver to crazy dance parties on the beach in Thailand! CS can take any old trip to a whole other level!

Interests

Learning languages, event planning, starting businesses, learning about new cultures, making friends, and I really want to start learning photography!

Music, Movies, and Books

SO many good books out there, but I'm always interested in hearing about more so feel free to recommend some!! I highly recommend reading "The Ridiculous Race." Good for a laugh, and it's about traveling around the world!

Music: I love anything you can dance to!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am fortunate enough to have experienced many amazing things so it`s hard to choose. There was one time we were motorbiking through a little village in Laos and we stopped at a side of the road bar (read: Shack) and ended up playing with all the local kids who gathered to watch us. They were amazed with everything we did and we got such a kick out of playing with them - even with the language barrier!
