Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

see and do as much as possible

ABOUT ME

Love to hike, windsurf, climb, kayak. I'll try pretty much anything just for the experience. I work on big ships as a marine engineer. I have a unique work schedule where I'm out working on ships for three months at a time and then off for three months. So I try to travel as much as I can during my three months off.

If you have any questions about what it's like to live on a ship in the middle of the ocean and sail around the world, feel free to ask.

PHILOSOPHY

Why not?

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm living in the South Bay Area at the moment and working odd-ball hours at a start-up company. I'm sharing a house with some other people, they might be willing to host, so always worth a try. If nothing else I can meet up for coffee or a drink in the city or Bay Area and I can show you around a bit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some really cool people so far. No bad experiences yet and everyone I've met has always been good for a story or two.

Intereses

Windsurfing, hiking, climbing, pretty much anything outdoors. Playing the ukulele. Reading. Drawing/sketching.

Algo increíble que he hecho

As part of work I went to Antarctica on a tanker leaving from Australia. Took us a month to get to McMurdo Station, breaking through the pack ice for half the trip, but along the way I saw some of the most beautiful scenery, made all the better with a sun that never set.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm an engineer by trade, so if you have any marine engineering related questions - ask away.

Love to jam with someone on the ukulele.

I can get you started on windsurfing, I've been doing it for a about four years now.

Just recently decided I want to get into wood carving.
