About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling for my final year of Veterinary School.
ABOUT ME
I've been in veterinary school for the past 3 years and everything I used to do seems so far away. Before school I worked as an elephant keeper, a scuba diver cleaning tanks at Sea World and a Marine Biologist. My focus in school is to become an aquatic veterinarian. Essentially I want to work with anything that lives in the water (except dolphins). Right now I'm in my 4th year of school and I'm lucky enough to go to a school that doesn't have a teaching hospital. So that means I get to plan my own schedule and I'm doing a lot of traveling. The next year has me in Boston, Finland, Norway, Barcelona, Tampa (Florida), Boise (Idaho), Los Angeles, San Diego and Mississippi.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm not terribly involved in the community due to time commitments with school however once I graduate and have a house somewhere people want to stay I plan to host as often as possible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had one experience in Atlanta in July of 2009. My host was busy with school at the time but he made sure I had a place to sleep and was able to find my way around town.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Komodo Islands and saw the dragons. The morning after we toured the island, our dive boat was anchored off a neighboring island and we could see a dragon swimming as the sun was rising. It was amazing.
Another memorable trip was in Shark Bay Australia on a sunset catamaran sail with dugongs swimming along behind the boat.
