About Me
***Currently travelling, so i can't host***
I can say I'm a regular Uruguayan guy, with no big special talents, but i do my best in every situation and i get good results! I'm easygoing (or i try to be), not as talkative as i should be, and i'm always open to learn new things.
I live in Montevideo, and i love showing my city to people, i'm learning something new about it with each couchsurfer. I lived in many cities in Uruguay so i got to know the country widely.
I'm currently studying chemistry (i hope this is my last year), but i'm also interested in many other topics.
I speak spanish, english and struggle with french.
CURRENT MISSION
Finding happiness, as we all should do. Trying to separate the things that really matters, from those that we convince ourselves that matters.
PHILOSOPHY
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.
Doing your best will always bring you, at least, satisfaction. I don't know if it is Karma or Newton's third law, but from every action there's a reaction. Act accordingly
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to learn about as many different cultures as possible. I open my house and try to make my place a home to my guests, and I'm available to show my city and my country to them.
Meeting new people, so different one from each other, makes everyone grow as an individual. It makes people understand and accept, that different realities make us different but deep down, still humans.
And it is also a lotta fun :D
Interests
Long list... Science, history, geography, traveling, people, culture, music, running, hiking & biking, again biking & hiking...
I'm overall, an active guy, but just chilling is an activity that i enjoy too
Music, Movies, and Books
Music
Almost everything... i have my preferences, but i'm open to any recommendations.
I can show you some bands from my country, and try to explain why our music is the way it is. In my humble opinion it is an interesting mixture.
I try to play the guitar, and i definitly can't sing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked a little part of the Inca trail, i'll do it again and again just for the view and the freedom sensation
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn
I learned how to solve a Rubik cube from one of my guests.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can try to cook "Empanadas" a typical Uruguayan meal, let see the results (or not)... I can cook a pretty decent pizza too.
I can cook "asado" if possible, i been told that i'm good at it ;)
I always ask my guests a lot of questions about their countries, so I'm open to answer all you want to know about Uruguay, and explain how things are here, from my point of view.
