I studied abroad in Italy, and also did a month of independent travel last summer. and I love to do it as inexpensively as possible. I also love going on road trips to visit friends and family, or just to explore new places.

MUSIC: pretty much anything except country music, however I believe there is a time and place for everything. My taste in music is always changing depending on my moods and where I am in life. My top favorite artists are probably Florence + the Machine, and Passion Pit.

MOVIES: I have a pretty wide range of tastes for movies as well. I'm not super into raunchy humor though. I think my favorite movies are Donnie Darko, and Inception. I really like movies that make me think. Oh yeah and Star Wars of course.

BOOKS: I LOVE to read. I've been super into classics lately and anything by Kurt Vonnegut. I also am a huge Harry Potter & Lord of the Rings fan.

I think one of my greatest accomplishments is earning my 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

I would love to learn more about the social and political cultures in the countries I visit! I majored in Communication Studies in undergrad, and I love studying society and psychology of communication.

English is my native language, so I'd be willing to share my knowledge of that as well as more about the American, or more specifically, Midwestern culture. I also love music and play instruments, so I would love to share my passion for that.
