About Me

Howdy CS :)

I'm a:
Motorcyclist, traveler, hiker, sailor, partier, paintballer, optimist, adventurer, maker/tinkerer, renovator, firefighter, photographer.

I've been all over Canada, USA, Mexico, most of Europe, Tanzania/Zanzibar, South-East Asia, and Madagascar. I prefer to explore countries by motorcycle whenever possible. I enjoy talking, researching and dreaming about travel and adventure almost as much as actually doing it.

As a rule:
Pubs are better than clubs. Experiences are better than possessions. Older music is better than new. Pickles are delicious. Mushrooms are gross. 😊

One thing I'd like to finally accomplish in 2020 is to get SCUBA certified! I've missed too many opportunities to dive in wonderful places, I want to make sure that doesn't happen again 👍

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What goes around comes around. I travel new places by motorbike as much as I can, and countless people have helped me along the way, whether with flat tires or just companionship. It's my turn to help others in their travels :)

Traveling solo is one of the most humbling and human things we can do.
I'd like to either meet travelers just to hang out, and offer a safe and clean place to stay for the right person/people.

Basically, I'm up for a good time pretty much all the time. I like to be surprised and intrigued by different people and their perspectives. I think couch surfing is a great way to meet people of all walks of life.

Interests

I used to think I was a renaissance man, but recently someone called me a Swiss Army Man, and I think that's a pretty good summary haha 😂

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything that is deeply thought-provoking....and anything that mindlessly fun :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Revived dead people? It's very cliché but it's true! :)
