Maverick female in her 50's - scorns convention - prefer simple life to 5* luxury - don't believe its anyones job to slave after me. Motto is its better to regret doing something than regret not doing it - because at least you will know the answer to the question "Should I have done that?" A rebel with a cause - I'll tell you when I meet you what that is!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted several times so far and have enjoyed the company of all my guests immensely. I have also been hosted in Sweden by Lotta who has stayed with me several times and we have become firm friends after she stayed for a month in the summer and worked in the local hotel. My guests never cease to amaze me with their adventures and get up and go, not to mention their kindness and consideration. I cannot say anything negative about this whole concept.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I highly recommend couch surfing as a way to meet people from different cultures and make new friends. The world would be a more open accessible place if everyone joined in.

Walked in the Grand Canyon, walked amongst the elephants in the elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka and helped bathe them.
