ABOUT ME
I'm a social being who can be both dead serious and totally whacky. I love learning new things, and have a serious passion for music. Singing lies close to my heart, as well as playing the violin (mostly folk music) and writing my own simple tunes for the piano. I sing in a Barber Shop quartet with three other girls (http://www.myspace.com/beautybops).
I love people in general, dislike disrespect. On those wonderful good days I can enjoy any kind of weather and season (which are most of my days really, being rather optimistic does that to you.). I prefer the bike over the bus, and the train over the plane.
I've got a thing for videogames, but at the same time I absolutely love being outside, doing all kinds of things. Playing soccer with my friends (Does not mean I'm any good at it though, haha.), biking to the beach, building igloos in the snow, walking, lying in the grass looking at clouds, throwing frisbee in the park, hiking, you name it.
PHILOSOPHY
Hakuna Matata.
To put it bluntly, I would say that my philosphy is love. To give up on the world won't bring it any closer to anything better. I always get a little sad when I meet someone who's bitter about everything. Being bitter and disliking people will not make you happy, or the people you dislike any nicer. So I try my best to respect and be nice to all the people I meet, and if the nice mode isn't available, at least I stick to the respect. We're only human, not constanly a ray of sunshine.
I love life, and to stay in the condition of "alive", keeping myself healthy is a pretty good option. I drink alcohol very seldomly (can you say that? seldomly? Okay, googled it. Apparently it's not really a valid world. Ah, I don't care!), don't smoke and don't do drugs. This of course doesn't mean that I'll hit you in the head with a stick if you do any of these thing, as long as no one else is hurt by it. But still, no sticks, violence is crap.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not that much, unfortunately. Hopefully, it will change soon!
Interests
Muuusic, wonderful music. And drawing, and reading, and languages, and computer games, aaaand... Did I mention music? I sing, always have, play the violin and often sit by the piano for som random very simple composing, mainly inspired by music from games, movies and animes. I love good books, even though I don't read as much as I'd like to. Give me the kind of library that you see in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast", and I would be stuck there forever. Considered I'd be given some food once and a while (good food should never be unterestimated).
Meeting new people, traveling, experiencing new things, and adding things to my list of interests.
And of course, my dear, dear friends. I wouldn't have half as much fun on my own.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything that makes me want to dance or sing, or makes me feel something. At the moment I'm mostly listening to Coldplay, Florence+The Machine, Regina Spektor and Yann Tiersen.
Other than that, we also have: Moby, The Ark, Radiohead, Muse, Joe Hisaishi, Yuki Kaijura, Jose Gonzalez, VNV Nation, Within Temptation, The Cranberries, Imogen Heap, Gorillaz, Gnarls Barkley, Katzenjammer, Hoffmaestro, The Beatles, Detektivbyrån, and so on and so forth. There's a lot.
Movies and TV-shows:
Amelie from Montmartre(has one of the best soundtracks in the world), Gladiator, Castle in the sky, Spirited away, Grave of the Fireflies, a lot of other Ghibli films, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Moulin Rouge, Scrubs, Friends, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Forrest Gump, and whole bunch of old classical Disney movies. I'm sure there's a lot I've forgotten here.
Books: Kafka on The Beach (Haruki Murakami) is one of my personal favourites. Harry Potter brings gives me a nostalgic, warm fuzzy feeling somwhere in the general area of my heart, being as I read those books just when I was at the right age to absolutely love them.
The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, is a must. Makes my laugh until I cry. Well, almost at least. Tales of the Otori by Lian Hearn - wonderful.
And add some Terry Pratchett to that as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a whole bunch of swedish (and other) folk songs for the violin, a bit of basic japanese, basic polish, how to make "Chocolate balls" (literally translated from Swedish. Damn tasty!), how to get around in Malmö on a bicycle, and well... Ask away! I know a great deal of things compared to what I knew ten years ago, but only a tiny fraction of what I would like to know.
For example, I hardly know anything about space, but I totally would like to. I mean, it's huge, mainly undiscovered, and filled with mystery. If you know how to yodel, breakdance, cook a delicious meal, build a robot, can recite a Shakespeare play, or basically anything I don't allready know - do share!
