About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death
ABOUT ME
Live like you mean it! Don't dream your life - live your dreams. That's pretty much it. We never know how much time we have on this earth, so enjoy it while you got it. You may not get a second chance. I want to see new places, meet new people and try just about anything.
I have recently gotten married and my wife Carrie is now living here too so you have double the hosts! She is an excellent cook and fellow traveler with a few stories to tell (though I need to work on getting her more ;). She's originally from Miami and can hook you up with some awesome Cuban coffee and Latin dishes if you are lucky ;)

PHILOSOPHY
âÃâ¬ÃÅTwenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.âÃâ¬Ã -Mark Twain
"As I get older my opinions may change but not the fact that I am right"
"Every wall against the outside world is a wall against oneself, creating two separate aspects of a mystery we can endure but never understand" - Franz Kafka
"The difference between friendship and love is how much you can hurt each other" - Ashleigh Brilliant
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day" - Frank Sinatra
"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it" - Aristotle.
"To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first, and whatever you hit call it the target."
- Ashleigh Brilliant
âÃâ¬ÃÅI am a humanist, which means, in part, that I have tried to behave decently without expectations of rewards or punishments after I am dead.âÃâ¬Ã - Kurt Vonnegut

Music, Movies, and Books
Yes, yes and yes. I have a substantial movie collection, with many genres of movies. I have 2 Ipods and over 500 cd's of music, ranging from classical to jazz to blues to country to heavy metal. Last concert I went to was Wilco (and am going to see them again in Denver July 2012). Awesome. And I start a lot of books, but for some reason rarely finish, lol. Could be that Adult ADD, haha. Wait what was I saying? I read the paper daily and many magazines as well (gotta pass the time on the plane somehow).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Japan. Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany. I have wanted to go there since I was 2 and finally made it a few years ago. This thing in Germany called Beerfest, too. Or is it Oktoberfest? I can't remember, lol. How can you beat 10,000 people drinking, singing, drinking, eating and drinking together in harmony??? Good stuff, good stuff. And how about one more? Prague. Simply a beautiful city from start to finish. Excellent (and cheap) beer. Good food. Amazing architecture. Symphony was incredible. I really want to go back soon.
