ABOUT ME

My parent are spanish but I grew up in France within the circus company of my father. I went to a youth singers school. I discovered computer graphics end of the 90' and I loved it. I did applied arts, animation, programming, learn to produce movies. I worked on small and very big animation companies. I had the chance to travel for studies and met a lot of friends. I organized for years meetings for audio-visual artists allowing them to share their work and get feedback before starting a full time artist collective. I still work as technical director for animated movies. I teach at the Paris 8 University of Paris. I love my work because it's always helping the others to create amazing things and being part of it is like magic. Because making an animation movie is a great human adventure, on a boat, and we are all in it together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to get surfers from CS or by friends. I love to met people. The last 2 years I even rented a big house and got a lot of people coming for it. Starting by my mattes with who I made a collective (facebook.com/caravelcollective) in the south of France. My door is always open.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only host several CS, and I'm looking forward to met more people ! :)
Amsterdam is the first time I go towards couch surfers instead of meeting or hosting them.

Interests

I'm super curious about most of the things out there. Seriously. I've to admit being facinated by technologies and art. So anything that mix those fields hooked me. But not only that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Cinema. Almost any kind of cinema, any genre. I love the theatres, I love sharing a movie with friends on a couch.
I love libraries, looking for inspirational images or reading a meaningful text.
Music is the ultimate language. I was a singer when I was a kid but I'm desperate because I never learned an instrument. I love to see jams where people who don't know each other and, sometimes, from different cultures just blast everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Singing Carmen in the Opera Bastille of Paris. Worked on a Academy Awarded animation short Movie. Having travelled thousands of kilometers in motor bike. Setup a creative place for 6 creators so they can just do whatever they want. 10 years at the circus and in street theatre companies. I teach since 3 years to amazing students in a school I didn't even finished the graduation (thanks Paris 8 university for the trust!). Be proud of my last 5 years of professional work, enjoying every moment.
