About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Don't look back in anger...
ABOUT ME
Someone with a love of humour and who can debate anything, from the merits of certain ideologies to the merits of certain fruit. I've been quite a few places but no way close enough to quench my appetite. Described as friendly, outgoing and "odd", which I don't think is meant to be a compliment. Time-keeping is not my strong point, so it goes without saying that I've missed planes, trains and automobiles, and I seem to have particularly bad luck with planes who forget to take my baggage when they transport me...
Have travelled to amongst other places: Spain many times as I love it, Syria, NZ, Morocco, Croatia, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia (I think highly of South America).
Future travel plans: having moved to Asia, keen to see more of this amazing region and would welcome like-minded travel companions for short and long trips. Aside from that, would love to see South Africa, as well other parts of Central and South America.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Happy to meet people and socialise, unfortunately not able to offer a couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had the pleasure to meet quite a few people through CS.
Interests
Travel, books, gigs, theatre, word games, food, socialising and meeting all sorts of strange people. I love reading, and am always hungry for knowledge (I am a fan of random facts). Adrenaline and photography are also addictive, although in no way related to each other.

Music, Movies, and Books
Godfather, Carlito's Way, Rainman, Lord of the Rings, Phantom of the Opera...
Too many books, music, flicks to mention here, but have a weakness for 80/90's "uncool" music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As common as it is, I loved skydiving intensely.
Teach, Learn, Share
1. Invented many games to occupy time while travelling, and have been convinced that I need to copyright them. One of the popular ones goes like this - guess film title from clue - Wooden tale: Pulp fiction. (Update - a friend told me that a radio station stole my idea! I KNEW should have copyrighted it!)
2. I can cook a pretty good curry (but a little hot for many tastes).
3. Languages - I know basic sign language and basic Spanish which is now pretty rusty. Also learning French.
4. Things that everyone else can do but me - I'd like to properly ride a bike (Summer 08 - I can now!). And dive. But before diving, I need to be able to swim without panicking that I will sink and my lungs will fill up with water.
