ABOUT ME

Eum...I love smelling fruit just before eating it. Does that give you a clue? ;o)hihi
Nah, seriously? I just try to enjoy life as much as I can. There's looooads of me that's still up for improvement, but as for now, it's not too bad ;o)
Having to smile without any particular reason, is another one of those big small things that make life great!!

PHILOSOPHY

"If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Share the love, spread the word =)
Finally hosted a lovely Brazilian couple the summer of 2009 :) Sint-Niklaas is obviously not such an exciting travel destination! haha :D
And trying to introduce as much Belgian chocolate in other people's houses as I can :p

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

August 2007 my friend Tessa and I had our first CS experiences in Italy and it was amazing!! We never stayed long at one place, but for the time we had, we had a great time getting to know the people and the city. I adore this way of travelling and hope to return the favour soon!
September 2008-February 2009, Sabine and I travelled around Brazil, Peru and Bolivia. We met more people than we can name -both CS and impulsive street encounters!- and have sooooo many beautiful memories! Great part of them are thanks to the people who hosted us. Can NOT thank them enough!! Obrigada y gracías!!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone I met through CS taught me something! Whether it was how to eat pasta, dance samba in the living room, the different ways carnaval is celebrated, which fruit is what, how to make special dishes, what attraction pampas can hold and basically whatever you want to learn if you just open up your senses!
And most of all, how to enjoy life in so many different and beautiful ways. And that whatever happens to the world or to you, there will always be more amazing people to meet in the future!
