About Me

My name is Timur.
My friends describes me as a person, who knows very much and love to share his knowledge with others. I'm very open-minded, liberally-oriented (sorry, I'm not very good in Engilsh and don't know how to say this correctly).
I love science and everything what is connected with it, I can talk about almost every field of nature science for hours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, I'd like to travel around the world and meet people from others cultures. For me, I travel not just to see places but also to feel the spirit of them, which is impossible without contacting with locals.
Also, I would love to show everyone, who is interested, my city, all the interesting stuff here.

Interests

I love science. I adore science. I can talk with a scientist for hours.
Of course, this is not my only interest. I love arts, especially visual arts like photography and filmes. Talking with people from other cultures is one the reasons I am travelling.
Urbanism is a thing which I love a lot. Also, public transportation.
And did I metion planes and space? Yeaah.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love modern indie music, mostly Russian, bands, you've probably never heard of. I do listen to a well-known music bands too, like Radiohead, 65daysofstatic. Also, classics (though, I don't know much about classics).
Movies: things like Lars von Trier's Melancoly, or almost everything of Monty Python. A lot of things also too, but I'm too lazy to remember all of them.
Books: sci-fi like Strugatskye brothers books, or Vonnegut, or Azimov, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once me and my friend just grabbed a tent and travelled in Belarus on bikes for almost two weeks. For this time we rided about 1000 kilometers and visited four cities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to improve my English and learn German from the scratch.
I love to look at cities and city transportation systems. Then I love to talk about it's problems and future development :)
I can learn you about stuff like space and planes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Almost everytime I travel with my girlfriend. We can tell you a lot about life in Moscow, which may be totally different compared to life in your place. Also, we can cook :)
