Love nature and dedicate my life to study, understand and protect it, specially wildlife. I enjoy traveling and interacting with cultures, I think learning is the best way to live!.

Ive been infected by the travel bug too (and do it as much as i can), so I understand what you are dealing with... Im even more in love with Bolivia than before leaving it to hit the rod... and Im pretty sure that, if you embrace the small gifts of life... this is paradise!...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've been a part of CS for... over 5 years now! and I must say is a life changing experience...
I´ve tried both sides... hosting and getting to know people here in La Paz, and surfing couches all around the globe... and i am in love of CS, now more than ever!

CS, the project, is a great idea to create a better world... starting home (wherever that is for each of us :)... and CS La Paz is quite an amazing group of people!... i always said while traveling, that we are almost as a small family, come and check it yourself! :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now I have met lots of people!!! with some I create a really strong friendship that will last for long, and with some others I shared magical moments... here/there or traveling...

as a host
I just moved to the States to start my PhD program, so i am not able to host in La Paz anymore :(... but!. Would love to help you with information and contacts.

now, i dont have much space to host people in Gainesville... but if you are passing by for a few days, you should try, maybe we can work something out :D

as a guest

all I need is a place to crash and someone to share talks of whatever issue -i ask a lot of questions!!!-, sometimes serious, sometimes fun and even wacko! i enjoy just the simple fact of sharing with friends... and so far i had spectacular experiences with families, friends and people of every different backgrounds and life styles.
for me... CS opens your mind and soul to what people is really about, and i love it!

Interests

Traveling, traveling.... and a bit more traveling.
Nature... conservation and understanding of the complex beauty of nature.
Cultures (ancient specially), birds and bats (well most animals, but specially these), photography... trying "exotic" food... uf! (and i did!), just enjoy life or at least try to every second!

While traveling i read whatever book i get... (I totally need it, and I find it part of entertainment).. back home, I am more... selective :D, love novels, specially those who mix a bit of reality (social, political, historical) and a lot of imagination...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Awesome amazonia, and montane forests in Bolivia and Peru...
Machupicchu, Azteca ruins, Iguazu falls, El Bala, Canasi­, sunset in Varadero...Colca Valley during the local parties...
Human nature and truly faith in Varanasi, sunsets in the Indian Ocean, power of Hampi, magic of everydays life anywhere in India, Orangutans in the wild in Bukit Lawang, the best musical sunset in Bukkitingi, Indonesia, too much beauty in italian streets, sunset in toscany, my favorite painters best art work in netherlands, italy and france... all the characters of Findig Nemo in Pulau Weh, north sumatra... and every kid smile on the road.
