Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been on walk about for the last few years, so I'm always grateful for all the warmth, hospitality and open hearts I meet on the road. I'm excited for the day when I put down some roots and can pay that hospitality forward. My partner and I are currently looking to become the caretakers/ stewards of some land in Oregon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

both surfed and hosted a bunch of ¨surfers¨ before really knowing this project existed.. have only had positive experiences. What an incredible way to expand our community to encircle the globe!

Interests

travel, good food (mostly paleo), nature and all things outdoors, living in community, walking on fire and the activation of our amazing human potential! eastern medicine and various healing therapies, plant spirit medicine, alchemy, metaphysics, good music, guitar, dancing all night, learning, love, laughter.

Movies: Baraka, Good Will Hunting, Waking Life, Almost Famous, American Beauty, Office Space.. Music: way too much.. Books: The Tao Te Ching, Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Jitterbug Perfume, The Fifth Sacred Thing, The Secrets of the Talking Jaguar, Hands of Light, all things Vonnegut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked on fire, Vision Quest, Shamanic dieta in the Amazon, rafted 300 miles down the Grand Canyon, the Pacific Ocean and sunsets over it. I´ve seen and done some cool stuff, but what I love most about traveling and life is the warmth, kindness, and generosity of the people I meet along the way. Continuously humbled and awed.

could teach/ share language, breathwork, meditation techniques, yoga, firewalking and about our amazing human potential! cooking skillz and of course.. secret ninja skillz from the government.
