ABOUT ME

I'm a very social and optimistic girl, born as a world citizen. Travelling will always be my passion. The world has so many things to offer and I really want to open my eyes, my arm and my ears for all of this!
I'm very inquisitive and interested in various things as culture, theatre, artistic occupations, beliefs and the world-kitchen.

Open your eyes mate, I'm here to break the 'chain of normality'!
You shouldn't go with the flow without changing from flow once in a while.
You can only see reality by brief observation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet other people and learn about other cultures. That's why I want to open my door for people from all over the world. I want to show people around in my country, in my village and even in my kitchen!
I have met a lot of hospital people in the past who turned my holidays into dreamdays and I'm really gratefull for that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled around in Portugal for two months , together with some friends. We couchsurfed in every village that we visited. It was really cool, a lifetime experience. Portugees people are so friendly and hospital, fantastic!!!
When I was living in Cape Town, I attended some CS-meetings and met some great CS-ers!
I've hosted several guests to show them around in my city.

Interests

taking the train on rainy days, teasing my brothers and friends, laughing with my own clumsyness, thinking about 'what if's, talking to much, watching movies, enjoying sunrays on my face, taking a bath, listening to music, dancing, youth movement, love cooking and eating, (playback)theatre, sewing and walking

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: shrek, disney, eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, pulph fiction, Tim Burton movies, Jan Verheyen movies...
Music: love going to performances of some local unknown bands. Mostly I just listen to the radio, but I can appreciate artists like Trixie Withley, Ella Fitzgerald, tracy chapman, johnny cash, barry white, Kings of Leon, Coldplay
Books: As I still have to finish a thesis I read mostly theorybooks about dramatherapy and psychology but I also enjoy books of Paolho Coelho and other authors where I forgot the name of...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've participated in the organisation of a youth movement in a poor village in roemania. I travelled with 10 others to the village murgesti. There we organised playdays for the local children. It was a great experience!
I've seen some awsome places and met a lot of interesting people in Portugal!
Walked around in the streets of Cape Town, on my own, after 7pm :o) brrr, haha!

Teach, Learn, Share

Psychology and dramatherapy really interests me, I can talk about it for houres. But also culture, arts and movies are very important to me.
I'm very open minded and always interested in learning new things, especially learning how to be less chaotic and forgetful any advice?
