ABOUT ME
I'm a person with an open heart at the first contact to make it easier to make a connection with everyone new I meet.
I enjoy the fact that travelling makes people meet each other, and that is the reason why I like to host travellers and show the little things I know about what surrounds me. :)
PHILOSOPHY
Never regret what you have done in the past. Don't plan too much your future: You have to allow destiny to make your life. So... be always focused in the present. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to receive travellers at my place, so that they can keep this good feeling while you are travelling, by sharing their stories along with a bottle of wine. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been hosted some couchsurfers. I have hosted Marta, who is an active member of the couchsurfing community in Glasgow, and she has told to me how the experience can get better compared with just hosting people. Most of the couchsurfers I have met are open hearted, that makes the life so much brighter. :)
Interests
I like to walk a lot. Walk in forests, walk along the beach, walk in the cities. There are always oportunities to get lost, away for the initial plan, in order to allow the masterplan to make its part. These are the best moments to enjoy silence to hear your innerself. :)
However, live evolves on the communication with people you meet along your life, and it seems that the quantity of people is directly related with your growth. That is the reason why I find the couchsurfing project so interesting. :)
I really like to have these moments the more confortable possible, reason why I enjoy to share a glass of wine. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Fausto (a portuguese songwritter that is still active after 50 years of releasing his first album)
Books: Siddhartha by Herman Hesse
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done the St. James way in the north of Spain for several days on a bicicle. It has been for me something that completly changed my life. Every day there was something to learn. Good to listen myself in the silence, time to meet so many peoply with open hearts because they were also living the same experiences.
It also made this desire to travel to grow inside me.
Teach, Learn, Share
After 13 years of carreer as an engineer, I need to have the challange to learn something new in classes. My objective: Learn to speak German.
Then I will have to practice it in Germany, and I'm really thinking about surfing some German couches. :)
