About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To just have a blast w/ some good, random people
ABOUT ME
About me, eh? Haha - what can I say - I'm busy livin' life big time right now w/ some incredible people and some awesome adventures lined up (just got back from climbin' Mt. Kilimanjaro, and headin' off to Peru in a couple months). Reading a bunch lately (since you're into traveling obviously lol, you should check out Mark Jenkins - guy just makes you want to crack open a beer and daydream...), taking up mixed martial arts / jiu-jitsu (i know - i don't know how that happened haha) - but yeah, good stuff all around (love it all really)
I'm incredibly laid-back and enthusiastic about most things. Believe there's no such thing as enough good conversation (throw in a good cigar and a cold beer into the equation and we might be talking about a bit of heaven for me).
But yeah, pretty much, I can get along w/ anybody and have an absolute blast w/ anything that comes my way. Think people are interesting as all hell, and would have to say the pure excitement that comes w/ meeting someone truly amazing has got to be one of my most favorite emotions. Haha - that, and knowing you've survived....
PHILOSOPHY
I live for the moments that happen without planning and stick with you forever. The greatest things / people in this life come to you only when you're absolutely ready to experience them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Found out about this whole thing from a random encounter with a beautiful gay man back in L.A., and it sounded exciting as all hell. The prospect of meeting local adventurers across the world and swapping / sharing stories together just sounds amazing to me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Freakin' awesome! Met some absolutely KILLER people while surfing in Europe. Talk about eye-opening / ego-checking kind of people. Badass, loved it - NEXT
Interests
Adventures and good conversation mostly. Love to experience things I never even considered before. Anything can be fun as hell if you A) have the right mind-set, and B) are w/ the right people.
Give me somethin' to climb....

Music, Movies, and Books
Let's not even talk about movies (we could be here for awhile).
Love a lot of music. Anything that gets my hips movin' or my fists pumping. Nah, but some music that's really affected me would have to be Imogen Heap (as she sings the theme song to my life), Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, Kings of Leon, Sigur Ros, etc, etc.
And books, eh? To rifle off a few greats in my opinion: "Atlas Shrugged", "Count of Monte Cristo", "Eat, Pray, Love", "On the Road", "Kiss the Girls" (and several others of James Patterson), Dark Star Safari (Paul Theroux is fantastic thus far)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungy-Jumping in Nanaimo (sp?), Canada above a spring in the mountains (wow) - beer had never tasted so good as it did after that.
Went bob-sledding on the olympic course in Utah....awesome.
Sky-dived through a cloud one time, and then at sunset another - aaahhhh
Hiked over the John Gardner Pass in Chile w/ some friends through sleet / rain - will never forget seeing Glacier Grey comin' at me on the way down....
Saw some incredible kindness in Europe from CS people & just random strangers I ended up stayin' w/ - will not soon forget you guys.... ;)
Fell in love... ;)
Summitted Kilimanjaro...
BURNING MAN (enough said ;)
