ABOUT ME

My ex bf and I originally started this account which is why the references are as a couple... I am a 30 years old female with an Italian background but I was raised in Australia. In 2010 I got the travel bug when I spent 3 months traveling across the USA with my ex, we then broke up and I spent 6 weeks traveling Italy and then spontaneously moved to London for 3 months.
I went back to Australia for my sisters wedding in 2011 and saved for a year then I booked a 1 way ticket to Italy for a new experience and to learn my language and culture. I moved to the Cinque Terre in April 2012 because I saw a picture of it and I decided that's where I wanted to live... I met a lovely Italian and over 1.5 years later I am still here living with my boyfriend! We work the summer season in the Cinque Terre... winter is now for travel. Loving life!!

PHILOSOPHY

I would rather own little and see the world.... Then own the world and see little of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed throughout the USA and for just a few days in London...I never really sit still, most of the time I travel and when I'm in Australia I stay with family so I haven't been able to host yet - one day when I settle down and have my own place I will be able to give back to the couch surfing community.

MUSIC: I like Pop, RNB, Rap, Rock, bit of Hardcore and most things on the Radio

BOOKS:
Mostly Magazines... sorry for book lovers... I prefer movies, that way I am not let down when they make a movie based on the book...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2006 - Hamilton Island, Australia:
Snorkelled the Great Barrier Reef

2006 - New Zealand:
Bungy Jumped 47 metres (154 feet) in Taupo over crystal clear Waikato River. I also White Water Rafted grade 5 rapids in Kaituna River and went down the awesome 7 meter (21 feet) Tutea Falls - the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world!

2008 - Sabah, Malaysia:
Did a Canopy walk 41 metres (134 feet) in the air and 140 metres (460 feet) strung between giant trees. I also got to see 3 baby orangutans interact with each other which was super cute (one animal I am not scared of LOL!)

2010 - America:
Got to see a man made and natural wonder of the world ''The Golden Gate Bridge'' in San Francisco and ''The Grand Canyon'' in Arizona ... Saw Slash perform at the Whisky a Go-Go on Sunset Strip in California... Saw some of the most beautiful beaches and piers in California... in Nevada I did a 2.5 hour horse ride in Red Rock mountain and off course walked the Vegas Strip... enjoyed the amazing greenery and natural springs in Austin, Texas and the incredible night life... went swimming in South Beach, Miami... walked around the streets of Manhattan... spent halloween in Salam and was live in the audience of the Jerry Springer show.. which was hilarious!

2010 - Italy:
I travelled Italy alone which in itself was an experience. I went to Rome, Venice, Verona, Pisa, Naples, Sorrento, Pompei & Sicily... Venice is the most amazing city I have ever seen, every where you turn it looks like a perfect postcard.

2010/2011 - England:
I lived in London for 2.5 months on my own... after a break up during my travels - My time in London changed me... it made me a stronger, happier person! I have never experienced such cold weather in all my life yet I loved every minute of it and can't wait to get back there.

2012/2013:
