About Me

CURRENT MISSION

on a Balkan Tour .

ABOUT ME

I love noticing the small clues in a new situation, let it be repeating graffities/stickers in the streets, everyday situation comics, or political/cultural intertwinedness.

I like a fine mixture of history, current living situations, and nature, when visiting new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to try both parts of CS, to host a couch and to surf. Unfortunately, hosting someone is currently not possible as I live in a small shared flat

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not that much. I did a CS tour in Ireland and Poland. I hosted some guys in Ecuador and Germany

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We once picked up a hitchhiker in northwest of Ecuador. I was in the back of the pick up and had a little bit of small talk with the guy. Then he offered me his lobster. I with my broken Spanish thought that he only wanted to show me the animal and as it was a little bit warm, I was scared, that the see creature was still alive. When he hopped out I wanted to give back the animal but he refused. A few km later we asked in a restaurant if they could prepare the animal and they told us, that the lobster is already cooked. They gave us a stone to burst the shell. The present was the lunch of the guy.

(Since many years I'm vegetarian though...)
