Brazilian, who loves to travel inside my country and around the world, loves to meet new people and share experiences and point of views.

I was born in São Paulo City, one of the largest cities in the world. Even though a lot of people don't like it, I love my city as I have learned how to enjoy it and to have quality of life.

I spent my teenage years in the USA. I feel that my north american experience made me more Brazilian... as a teenage foreigner I had to think about my roots, and had the responsibility to present my country to another culture.
Now I am living in Yorkshire, UK, trying to learn something to bring back to Brazil, an hopefully contribute in someway,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just arrived in the UK, so I wish to meet people who are opened to other cultures and are after having a good time. Also, would love to travel through Europe while I am here, and have a local experience this time.

Interests

Urban kind of person, but love the nature as well, specially beaches

Travel by myself, but never refuse a good company

Music, Movies, and Books

Recently I've been reading Hermamn Hess, Milan Kundera, Rubem Fonseca, and listening to brazilian music (Chico Buarque, Vinicius de Morais, Jorge Ben, so many others!), Nina Simone, Funkadelic, Bob Marley and I am being introduced to eletronic music by a friend :) When I think about cinema, Pedro Almodovar, Woody Allen, Richard Linklater pops up in my head(rt).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked to Machu Picchu... have no words to describe it.
Walked around the whole Island of Boipeba, one of the most beautiful places I have been to... have no pictures to show (its all in my head).
