About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm very friendly and open to new experiences. I'm always able and with lots of energy to do new things and meet new people.
I enjoy simple and positive people. And single things of life. I think it makes life much better.

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard but never forget to live your life. Travelling is the best way to do so, to open your mind, to respect people, their diversity and nature. And also to respect and admire more your country, your home!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first contact with couchsurfing was in Boston-USA, while I was in a Au Pair Exchange Program for a year.
I have a friend who took me to a weekly meet up in Cambridge, where I could be more aware of CS philosopy and starting loving it and the people around, which made me want to keep in touch with the CS in Brazil when I came back.

Interests

I like different things. Live new experiences, meet new people. When I travel, I try to go on tourist in a different way then everybody else, trying to know better about the culture and how people live.
I'm a very eclectic person (speccially for music).
I love photograpy (still in basics) and gastronomy. Love to try new dishes of other countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I always wanted to visit other places and know other culture. When I started having english classes I realize that it could help me to take the first step to know the world. In Brazil, we have a lot of influence from USA. So I thought it would be nice to my first step knowing the world if I was going there. So I decided to change my life a little bit. I locked one year at college to live in USA by myself, before I started the crazy, proletarianized, responsable life after graduation.
There I've met lots of peolple of every part of the country by Couchsurfing meetings. It was great. I've made lots of friends and started to be in love by CS philosophy.
And then, when I came back to Brazil, I found a CS group in my City (Ribeirão Preto - SP), which was amazing, since I didn't know that they have it in here.
It's been 4 years since I came back from USA and finally I could plan a new trip outside the country. And I'll definetely want to Couchsurf this time and whenever I can.
What amazes me in Couchsurfing is how open the people are to host/receive and respect people from other country. It's amazing and I feel always confortable around every new CS that I meet.
