About Me
Hi, I'm Flavia!
I can't wait to meet you and hear about your life stories.
I stick by the Golden Rule. I love hammocks and rocking chairs. I think we're on this planet to share love.
Unfortunately, I am not able to host because I am currently in Italy for a year (8/20-8/21) where I hope to pick up some Italian and learn more about 1/4th of my heritage.
I left behind my life in Chicago with the hopes to start a new adventure, so here we go...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I wanted to give back to the incredible community that has supported (and inspired) me on my travels.
We each know the feeling of needing a comfortable, safe place to stay whether we're in the middle of a journey, at the end of one, or just beginning something new- I would love to help share that part of your story with you.
Interests
Botany, cheese (eating it, at least), fancing (fake dancing), organizing, and pets. Especially the big, fluffy kinds.

Music, Movies, and Books
Monty Python and the Holy Grail is always my answer to this question. So now you can hack into any accounts I have with this security question. My sense of humor is thanks to Leslie Neilsen and the Naked Gun trilogy. I am always ready to pop in some Scorsese or Miyazaki.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled down the west coast (~3,000 miles/4.200km) by myself for a month in a Toyota Yaris. I met some of the most incredible people and truly put that little engine to test (5 Stars, by the way. It's an awesome car).
Teach, Learn, Share
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime. Enlighten him further, and he'll own a chain of seafood restaurants.
Please, someone, teach me how to drive manual transmission...
If you have any more questions, feel free to message me! Most of my traveling has been solo, so I'm not scared of anything. Except scorpions.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Beer, wine, food, and some really bad puns.
