About Me
When I was a child, the first meaningful gift I received was a World Atlas
I have browsed it back and forth, until I knew all countries, all their flags and all their capitals. I was literally thrilled by the diversity of cultures, worldviews, landscapes, animals and nature available in this planet.
Now, I am 29 years old, I have been living abroad for a while and I have found out that I couldn't live without travelling. Having a trip planned for the future is what makes me fall asleep happily. Time is precious and the main reason why I am willing to work and earn money is to save it to travel. To me, travelling means learning, meeting people, experiencing, discovering: in one world, living.
My motto is "sharing is caring", and I always try to give to other people more than what they give me.
I would like to live in a world where people have no fear and trust each other, where people care about others. Meeting people that share this view and that spread positive vibes to other people is what I aim at when I travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I would like to meet locals in the places where I go and learn about their culture, but also because I would like to get genuine tips for the locations I go to!
At the same time, I am willing to make everybody that would ever visit me feel welcome and home. Where do I live? It could be Caggiano, a small town in Southern Italy or anywhere I am gonna move in the next months (Barcelona?)

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, I am in love with Arctic Monkeys (I have been to three gigs), but I also listen to other bands that play the same or similar genre (The Strokes, The Killers, Alt-J, etc...). That's not all, I like electro-swing, I don't mind some classical music and I also happily play some Italian/Neapolitan rap/hip-hop every now and then.
Oops! I have almost forgotten my favourite genre at the moment: house/techno, disco, funky music, which I have fully discovered and appreciated during my game changing 1-year-stay in Berlin.
Here's a playlist of mine of this genre: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=LL6Vvh3MspMrIKchl6rXmf4g
Talking about movies, I think there's 10-15 movies that really shaped in a way my existence. Shawshank's Redemption, Into The Wild, American Beauty definitely make it into this list. Lately, I rather stick myself to tv-shows: Peaky Blinders, Rick & Morty and Californication are the last ones I have watched. Breaking Bad is my favourite. No, I haven't watched Game of Thrones yet.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a decent tennis player. If you have a racquet and you wish to improve your game, I'll be happy to give you some tips. I like cooking: again, if you want me to give you some tips on how to cook authentic Italian food, I'll be pleased to help :)
The list of the things I'd like to learn is somewhat longer :) Playing piano, playing guitar, DJing, playing bongos, playing poker professionally all feature!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a sociable, positive person, who enjoys talking to people and listening to their stories.
Even before actively using CS.com, I have been a CS quite a few times and I have always tried to respect my host's spaces and to be as clean and respectful as possible.
