ABOUT ME

I grew up on a farm and am very familiar with the Amish. Cars and bikes are a personal passion, and I love meeting new people, sharing stories and am motivated by nature and new activities!

I'm on a two month trip, beginning in Scotland and ending in Spain. I'd love to meet you and share in the experience!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do not have a couch available, but would love to show anyone around or buy a warm cup of coffee for a traveler. Hopefully in the future I will not only be able to travel more, but have a couch to give back to this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a traveling musician and his brother stay with me before, was very last minute but we had a great night talking and he shared his experiences with me. A quick breakfast in the morning and we parted ways but it was great to meet him and we still keep in touch!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of blues, Frank Sinatra and Shawn Mullins. Tango music is groovy as well, especially while cooking! Books would be a very long list, currently rereading Sherlock Holmes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sing in a French cathedral with a group of travelers while the locals prayed around us.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn more about various world cultures, and can offer a lot of knowledge about the Amish, farming and the culture in Lancaster.
