CURRENT MISSION

My partner Pierre and I have decided to take a break from our careers and explore the World!!
I have worked as a general practitioner for about five years in primary care and Pierre is a computer scientist. We enjoy our careers and are very happy in our jobs but we also love learning about different cultures and languages. That is the reason we want to travel around the world, starting with Asia, then Australia and New Zealand and ending our trip in Argentina! We will be traveling for more than a year starting January 2019 and plan to spend at least a month in each country to actually engage with the culture.
I believe Couchsurfing is an excellent way to meet new people and broaden your horizons. I have had people stay at my place and it has always been a great experience.

ABOUT ME

I was born in the UK but lived all my childhood in the Canary Islands with my family until I was 18. I then decided to go and live on the Spanish mainland and study. I lived in Santander, Oviedo, Madrid when I was studying. I also lived in Germany for a year which I loved. I learnt a new language, a different culture and traveled around so much.

I started working in Valencia where I lived for almost 5 years. I met my partner here who comes from Belgium and now we have decided to travel the world...and this is our current mission! ;)

I´m interested in languages, different cultures and people, traveling...I am easy going and I just enjoy the simple things in life ;)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started participating in Couchsurfing ten years ago when I was studying and sharing a flat with my friend Alba in Santander in the north of Spain. We often had guests with us and our experiences where always very good. I also met up with people who were new in the city and showed them around and introduced them to my friends. This is also a great way to build friendships.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always good. We had many guests when I shared a flat with my friend Alba in Santander. All nice people and good experiences.
When I stayed in Santiago de Chile I rented a flat with my friend Irene and we hosted an interesting girl from South Korea who we met in one of our trips. She was a solo traveler then and we enjoyed having her with us for a few days.
