I'm on a journey from the west coast to the east coast by car. Meeting old and new friends along the way.

ABOUT ME

I recently finished school and i'm not really ready to settle down for the rest of my life at a desk job. Who is? So i've decided to go on a cross-country road trip by myself as a cool adventure and a good soul-searching exercise. It also helps that my lease is expiring. I plan to meet up with friends and family that I know along the way who are sprinkled throughout. For everywhere else along my route I hope to meet new and interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't normally think of myself as adventurous, so I figure why not change that? As some famous old guy said once... It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not.

So i figure I'm done with a ton of schooling and its about time to do something more exciting than just getting a job and wasting away.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I'm just starting out and have not surfed or hosted yet. We had an extra room this last month but my housemates didn't want to host. I plan on surfing across the united states soon, as i recently graduated. I also plan to host when i am done traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed for about a week with someone I met in Portland, Oregon, but was not through this site. I hope to change that soon.
