About Me
Hola!
———————————————————————————
Hey there! We are Fleur and Manu, two freshly graduated teachers who decided to postpone adult life for a little while. So now we are exploring South America for a year.
So far, it’s been incredible and CS has played a great part in that. We love meeting new people who can share a bit about their lives and experiences with us. We’re both easygoing, respectful, and genuinely curious about other people’s lives and cultures. We’re also both trying to learn Spanish along the way — so please feel free to practice with us (and forgive our many grammar mistakes 😅).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because we love meeting interesting people, traveling, and experiencing different cultures. For us, Couchsurfing is the perfect mix of all those things — it allows us to see a place through the eyes of locals and share real moments instead of just being boring tourists.
We enjoy learning new things, hearing people’s stories, and discovering what daily life looks like in different parts of the world.
And since we’re working hard on our Spanish, having the chance to talk in Spanish is always a huge plus!

Music, Movies, and Books
Fleur: The Handmaid’s Tale
Manu: The Chess Novel (and not only because he loves chess)
Teach, Learn, Share
Fleur can help you with English or French, Manu would love to play chess with someone, and of course we can both offer you German language skills, German humour and a lot of talk about the wonderful German bread.
Right now, our biggest goal is to learn Spanish — both for fun and to really connect with the people we meet. We’re also curious to learn about local traditions, music, nature, and daily life wherever we go.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully interesting conversations, a chill vibe, and some really good German style pancakes.
We’re tidy guests, happy to share our very basic cooking skills and always up for a hopefully good chat or a quiet evening — whatever suits your vibe.
