Hey everyone! I’m Fleur, an 18 years old girl who lives in a small town called Erpe. I’m pretty sure nobody knows it and that’s why I put my profile location on Ghent, which is pretty close to Erpe.

I’m a really optimistic person who loves exploring new places and cultures even though I’m kind of a chicken when it comes to trying new foods.

I think life is one great adventure and I’m hoping that couchsurfing can be a part of that adventure.

I really want to discover the world to the fullest, meet people from different countries, explore new cultures,... This world has so much to offer and that’s why I love travelling. Couchsurfing makes it even better, because of this you can stay or meet up with a local who can show you their country trough his/her own eyes.
I believe this is the best way to discover new places.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I am absolutely obsessed with music and especially going to concerts. In 2017, I went to 6 concerts and I already have 4 concerts planned for 2018. I just love it when you’re sitting in the waiting line for quite some time and you start talking to the people next to you and discover that you have so much in common. And then you have the concert itself, you get to go crazy on your favourite music with your favourite band right in front of you. My best memories have been made on concerts.

And I haven’t started about movies, I am absolutely addicted to watching movies and series. I definitely watch one movie or episode a day, it’s not healthy anymore. When it comes to movies I’m a pathetic romantic, so I watch a lot of romance movies but nonetheless am I also a Harry Potter freak.
In series I mostly watch something that has to do with crime, like Rookie Blue or Rizzoli & Isles.

I’m not really a reader, because I find it really difficult to find the time and effort to finish a book. I did by a couple books a few years ago but I still haven’t finished any of them. To Kill a Mockingbird was one of those books which I’m still really determent to finish.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

In 2017, I did an exchange project with a Polish school. I had so much fun because it was the first time that I got to discover a country with a local by my side to tell me all the interesting stories. I also made a lot of friends there, it's crazy how attached you can get to a person who you never met before.

In 2018, I'm doing another 'exchange' with China. It's not really an exchange because I'm only staying with a Chinese student for 1 night and she/he isn't coming to Belgium. Despite that I'm still super exited to go explore China, it will be the first time that I'll travel that far away.
