In September last year I quit my job as a content manager in Amsterdam, packed my life into a backpack and bought a one-way ticket to the flip-side of the world to chase the sun and experience everything I cannot do back home. Last month I completed the Great Ocean Walk. An amazing experience, beyond my expectations.

Currently I'm based in Melbourne, writing an interactive travel guide for www.favoroute.com about the GOW. To finance my further travels I cook and sell caramelized nuts at markets and events around town.

Next stop: Tasmania.
Then: the rural outback.
