ABOUT ME
A little bit of this, and a little bit of that... I like to think that we all are a complex mixture of different elements. Anyway, that's how I look at myself, and others! With curiousity and a wide opened mind. I am an accute observer of the world and its people - as quiet people usually are! ;-)
PHILOSOPHY
Still pondering hard on that one!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had my first CS experience while traveling to New York this june and august and met some amazing people through it!
Interests
Learning. Anything. Everything.
Cooking. Listening to music and having a glass of wine - or two! - while doing so. Best part of the day.
Hearing stories. The crazy ones, the enlightning and moving life stories or just the bizarre incident of the day.
Drawing. Portraits mostly. I love faces - whatever that means!
Walking. Wandering around in a foreign city (or in my own town), watching people, taking in the vibe of the place.
Accents, slang, languages...the music of the world!

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: I'm an ecletic and moody music listener. I'm in anything that catches my ear, from corny pop to electro\hip-hop\jazz\folk...
MOVIES: Crash, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, The piano, Down by law, Girl with a pearl earing, Kill Bill, Blade runner, Pride and Prejudice, Modern times, The good the bad and the ugly, The Pillow Book, The cook the thief his wife and her lover, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Closer, The Godfather, When Harry met Sally, Juno, In the mood for love, Volver, Waltz with Bachir, Persepolis, Amores Perros, Lost Highway...And so many more!
I live surrounded by books and I read A LOT (its part of my job!). There's just too many to list but this one stands out above all:
"L'usage du monde" ("The way of the world") by Nicolas Bouvier - this book really changed the way I think about my life. It's about travelling of course!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I see amazing things everyday. Little things. I really get a kick out of observing this human circus we all take part in!
Teach, Learn, Share
Sooooooooooooo many things!
Of course, I could teach you french - with a québécois accent! And if you come to Montreal I will definitely introduce you to "poutine" - the Quebec national dish - a big cultural must!
I can cook pretty good, sew and I cut my own hair - you never know, that might come in handy while traveling!
I would love for you to teach me a few words in your language - or slang! - and whatever manual or artistic skill you have...and also the funniest or most useless talent you possess!
