Hi there! This is Fleur, nice to find you here …

So in short, my life story: I was born and raised on a farm in the Netherlands, started university but then figured out that there is more to see of the world, which is why I left my hometown and started what turns out to be my world tour … It’s been about two years now, which is pretty incredible, and who knows how long it will go on for.

My main philosophy I guess you could say is to just live day by day and I live by the words; who knows, we’ll see & why not?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love travelling alone but sometimes it’s quite nice to have some company, right? And not just any company, I mean being welcomed into someone’s home means so much and you’re actually able to experience what life is like in a country, rather than just going and seeing, but what do you really see? So yeah, made some pretty amazing memories and friends through here that I will never forget.

Music, Movies, and Books

I try to base my music on the area that I’m in, so I can connect it back to all places and discover some new cool stuff. I’ve been trying to master ukelele & guitar (it’s a work in progress) and I enjoy singing.

I think I could write books about the books that I’ve read and want to talk about (makes sense?) because there’s a lot … Mostly reading non-fiction these days; psychology, human & animal behaviour, creativity, and all that kind of stuff.
