About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for newer sweet mistakes to make, after having learned from the never-to-be-made-again old ones. Although, if I could go back in time, I would definitely remake them all...!

ABOUT ME

Yikes. Too lazy for that now. :) But basically a jack of all trades and a master of none, with soul storm everywhere: I have yet to learn to come at peace with the various sides of my personality. I'm like a circle, a line and an angle all put together. But I try to be centered as much as it's possible.
Oh yeah, one more thing, I might look and sound complicated to some people, but I'm actually very very ultra simple, it's just situation dependent.

PHILOSOPHY

Yikes, another one of those aye... Alright, I'll try to see what's lurking in the back of my head right now and try not be too artsy-fartsy pseudo-psycho babbling here... But forgive me please if it ends up that way! :-) Because really, I see nothing, I know nothing. I only feel and remember sometimes. Nor do I show. I only present. I'mnot a merchant of certainties, nor the ghost of solitudes, I'm just a regular guy who's always been prone to anything that stands, and actually, sometimes, to some things that may not stand too, so vertical connection should always be the way for me, because even through horizontal connection, it still has to start with the vertical somehow. It's like a way for me to be on my way to happiness. I mean, truly, there is no way to happiness, happiness is the way they say, but as long as you suffer, I think, you're still alive... And as long as you can smile about it, you're eternal right there. And understanding that is my happiness. I'd say that suffering and smiling produces clear, pure thoughts that hang upside down in the realms of eternity, contradicting with our struggles, because it is very difficult to be a human, very difficult to forget. More difficult than most people think. But at the same time it takes nothing at all, you know... When I look at a flower for example and end up smiling thinking of it, when lost in my own thoughts, there, what I'm really doing is making it smile at me. But I might not realize that. The deep meaning of the world really contradicts with its shocking simplicity. Like if I assume that black holes simply are those areas of the universe where God divided by zero, going against all logical, mathematical reason. Why not? That's where we tend to go anyway when we have the "When is it that we go where?" syndrome. But we definitely don't get anywhere by directly aiming at them with absence of reason. So in order to get somewhere, maybe we should first procede with getting somewhere inside, and progress that way, outwardly. And we only progress as we do. We also progress as we undo and we only regress when we want too much, but definitely progress when we overdo, I say. Horizon lines are there for us to not only reach but to go over, in order to finally dimistify them and feel more comfortable when "trapped" behind the contraptions. But understanding all this is hard, and demands inner sacrifices. It is therefore the right word for what it means, 'understand'. Beware of people who claim they 'overstand', for they only try to sell the smartest product of them all to fool people with for thousands of years now, the one thing that is not a thing and gets us all dizzy and disarrayed: void. Only love, and respect prevail. To wrap it up though, one of my favorite (though fictional) quotes:
"To be is to do." - Socrates
"To do is to be." - Sartre
"Do be do be do..." - Sinatra

Enough for now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Of course I enjoy very much meeting new and interesting people and bathe in their unique and amazing stories, but apart from that, I also just like giving a helping hand to anyone who needs one, which I find more important. I was already introduced to the concept of couch surfing at a very young age, where travelers from around the globe stayed at my parents' house back in Madagascar in the 80s-90s and were showed around by my parents, my dad being himself a true traveler. And this here, is truly one of the best platform for the kind of altruism anyone should be enjoying. Simple, sincere, and always a good vibe. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing so far, had the pleasure to meet really interesting and very good people who are always living on the edge, and most importantly for me, have a big big big soul and a great great great heart! :)

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of things. Really. From astronomy, mathematics, philosophy, psychology, photography an so on to music, poetry, dance and movement theater, gastronomy, dreams, realities, cultures, respect, tolerance, esotery, nature, environment, animals, people, playing music, cooking and so on, just to name a few, and of course, long bonding conversations about all these around a drink, in a bar, a cafe, on a rooftop or on the grass, or simple chit-chats here and there. Anything goes. Also, I like embarking into doing big things sometimes, but I like to wallow about like a puppy in the small and sometimes boring things of life too. Just depends, as long as it's not a routine. I guess pretty much anything that feels right to our innermost sense of universal truth. And sometimes 'left', like painting the town purple once in a while. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Love.

Other than that, I haven't done anything else that I would depict as amazing, really. But others have tho. Like one time, a reef shark suddenly appeared in front of my goggled, infidel eyes, about 5 meters away from the shore, and I left the area in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately I didn't have Visine at that time to ease the redness of my convulsed eyes. I was scared shitless like I'd never been and have never been since then. I know, it sounds stupid, shark don't attack and don't eat humans in general, but still, it's got big sharp teeth. And I don't.
My friend was rolling on the floor barking away his jubilation for almost an hour.
The amazing thing I have done there, was to refrain from running to him and kill him. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning and sharing, yes. No teaching. Only guiding and doing. Sorry to be so vague, but, that's it, for now.
