ABOUT ME

Timber man happy to be outside the American continent. After ten years in Europe I am still amazed by its diversity. Tennis, sailing, long trail cycling, saxophone (new, and not so dissonant), sambafied guitar and bird watching...
Lived in Canada, Switzerland, Belgium and now Scotland.
I am Lecturer in Economics and I am studying informal saving and insurance groups in West-Africa.
Occasionnaly i am a part time chandelier maker for Charlotte!

PHILOSOPHY

Secretly praying that my honeybees will survive scottish winter. The help of Shiva has been implored recently after having read 'A very short intoduction on Hinduism'... next year I may try something else in case it fails. On a more liquid note: Red wine is a magnificent liquid. Reading Chomsky helps digestion (in a positive way).

I live with my love and we both like to have interesting people visit. We have both couchsurfed in various places and it is important for us to reciprocate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed mainly in France and Scotland. For a long bike travel and for finding a flat in Edinburgh my new town of adoption. There is no reason to get an hotel room while you can learn from insiders...
