ABOUT ME

I was born into a quite large family with 3 siblings. Age-wise, we are very close but character-wise very different which tought me at an early stage to be open minded and appreciate another. I look back at my childhood, the pranks, the fun, the fights, the energetic discussions having a big smile on my face. I grew up in Potsdam, but always felt enamoured to Berlin, my beautiful, inspiring city..

However, I went out to the Netherlands to study in Maastricht and I feel very much comfortable here. Of course I love travelling and I want to come around as much as possible. It's my passion to check out the world and their people. I have seen a lot so far and have been to quite some places.. but the more I know and the more Ive seen, the greater my thirst for more adventures and experiences.. Places I still need to see are almost all Asian countries and Latin America.. but schemes are afoot...

PHILOSOPHY

My one aim in life is to thrive as a person and to use this growth as a mechanism for enriching the lives of those around me. I see the world that I have grown up in as full of issues and problems but passionately believe that none of these issues are insurmountable. I am in awe of the exponentially increasing technological developments that we have witnessed and continue to witness and feel that our challenge now as a species is to transcend our destructive practices, to recollect our traditional virtues and to allow technology to free us from the burdens of paid employment and the shackles capitalism. I put my faith in progress, technological as well as philosophical and psychological progress, that will allow a change in mindset, a shift towards a paradigm, that acknowledges the interconnectivity of all living on earth and universe and will ultimately lead to mutual respect, adoration and endurance...

You only live one time.. you only get one chance to experience as much as you can.. and while doing this everything good you do pays off one day..and everything bad you do backfires at you.... one day!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to surf couches without drawning, get to know people and their cities I would love to show people my home, place, world. Here in Maastricht, I have a little room and if you are not picky about comfort I am sure we will find an arrangement and have a good time ;]

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I already have a couple of couchsurfing experiences. Since my friend introduced me to this fabulous community I got the chance to stay with people in places such as Hungary, Romania, Netherlands, Germany and Kazakhstan. It was always an adventure! I am very impressed how couchsurfing works. It is touching with how much trust one usually greet each other from the very first second onwards.
I didnt get the chance to really host anybody yet but Im looking forward to do that soon!

Interests

I like music! Its a big part of my life. I make music, chill with music, dance to music, lough with music, even jizz in my pans to real good music.. sometimes I almost cry cause of the feelings music can give you.. I love to express my nature with different types of music and to communicate with other people through music.. I think the type of music people really enjoy tells a lot about their character..

I mostly enjoy rap.. but dont get me wrong.. not that ordinary gangster crap.. there is a lot of good stuff out there.. Like poetry backed by beautiful sounds and delivered with a persuasive rhythm. I also likr most electronic tunes, minimal, house, deephouse, progressive but especially electroswing as well as drumNbass and dubstep.. I love jazz, most classic but also balladeer kind of music.. If you are a music maniac as I am, lets share some music!

I am pretty much up for anything deviant, sophisticated, wild, debauchery, unusual.... I am open minded and a real adrenalin fiend..
I take pleasure in traveling, cooking, watching documentaries.. well, actually I am a dokufreak..
I enjoy the sun, like to have a beer, have two beers, write, read, talk, go clubbing, do sports, chill with my friends... maaaiiin.. this list could go on for ever! Lets meet up and you will find out!

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to rap and hip hop but if I go out to party its gotta be some nice electronic/house/minimal style beat an Ill go crazy! The deep drops and frequencies of drumNbass is also a pleasure to my ears!
However, sometimes I just put on some classic or jazz, grab a cup of tea and a book and let my thoughts flow..

Movies I enjoy most include for example all Tarantinos and a whole bunch of european productions like "DÃnische Delikatessen", "Pusher","Goodby Lenin" or "Knallhart" and then I always get a good laugh watching "Scrubs" episodes!

If it comes to books I like to read poems. They are not very long, often poetic and with lots of content for just a few words.. I like that!

Another very interesting book is Prosperity without Growth by Tim Jackson.. I think everybody should read that book! It is sad to see how most people are blinded by mainstream media, how they take everything for granted without questioning it.. how we consume, how we fuck up our planet, how we mostly think in monetary terms and give a shit about others well being if it serves our own personal interest.. This needs to change!
