We love traveling in Australia and we traveled for 3 months in Europe in 2011. We love to meet new people, have a good laugh and share stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We couch-surfed once in Scotland and it was a memorable experience. We now try to host as much as we can... time permitting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We went to a small town on the west coast of Scotland and had a fantastic first couch surfing experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Dave loves any comical light-hearted movies. Flick enjoys foreign films. We both love a range of music, mainly folk, blues, rock, alternative. We both dabble in guitar, piano (Flick), violin (Dave).
Flick is reading The diary of a young girl: Anne Frank. Dave is reading Dirt Music by Tim Winton.
Favourite books are the Larsson millenium trilogy: The girl with the dragon tattoo, any of Tim Winton's, Shantaram by Gregory Roberts, Tall Man by Chloe Hooper, The Potato Factory trilogy by Bryce Courtenay.
Dave doesn't read much unless for practicalities sake he has to (for example, the manual for our 1983 Toyota Landcruiser)... (:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfing on the west coast of Australia and having a dolphin jump clear out of a wave a few metres in front of us... felt so peaceful and fearless after that.
