ABOUT ME

I am a country girl now living in the city, Love travelling and helping people, been on a couple of volunteer trips, one to Nicaragua where I helped with a medical treatment and to Ethiopia with Eyes For Africa to help the team perform cataract surgery. I also love sports and now that I am not enjoying the injuries anymore I am turning towards photography and capturing others enjoying it. My main topic right now is the sport of Shearing and wool handling as my brother is current Australian champion.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have recently bought a house in Melbourne and when the house is finished being furnished would like to offer the opportunity for people to come and stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a friend in England who let me stay on her couch for a month or so when I was made homeless in England, she remains one of my best friends.
My actual couch surfing experience pertains to one stay in Ireland earlier this year, is was an awesome experience and look forward to meeting other new people this way.

Interests

I have many interested, it all depends on what mood I am in. I love the arts and crafts, knitting when I can find the time, love the adrenalin sports such as paragliding even though I have only had one chance to do it. Photography-sports photography and anything else that captures my attention is becoming more my thing. Traveling around the world has given me different perspectives on things and I am now ready to travel Australia more rather than OS.

Music, Movies, and Books

love lots of different things, but mostly action/ sports. I do like to read and need to give it more time as my book shelf doesn't seem to be getting read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling around the world is such a privilege, but seeing things like Niagara falls, the Simien mountains is just amazing. The peoples homes I have been fortunate to stay in, the things I have done such as paragliding in Baveria there are just so many different exciting things I have been fortunate enough to do!
