I've just graduated from engineering school and I'm looking to go on walkabout before settling into a job.

Plans sound like a great idea - but I'll be damned if I have to make any. I like to take things as they come unless my arm's been twisted into making plans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend said to me the other day, "couchsurfing is proof that society's not screwed." I want to be part of that - can't host anyone right now as I'm living at home but I will be traveling in short order and hopefully giving back to the couchsurfing community by being an awesome guest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great couchSurf experience in Toronto. Stayed with a musician/actor and toured the city, checked out the Nuit Blanche all night art event, and went to a couple of concerts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I paddled and portaged for 20 straight hours. Myself and 5 others started around 10:30 in the morning. That evening, dusk came on during a particularly long paddle. We kind of skimmed across the top of this giant mirror as the stars came out and then watched the August meteorite showers all through the night as we paddled our cedar canvas canoes. It was really an amazing experience.
